With the first snow covering about 5 inches of the ground yesterday, but seeing that we haven't even made it to Halloween yet, Lane discovered this tasty mid-holliday drink. It is delicious! I'm so grateful for a thoughtful husband who likes to bring a goodies every now and then to share and enjoy together. Happy Hall-O-Snowinter-Iving!

I made this delicious dressing to go with our dinner last night. Creamy Lime-Cilantro Dressing. We had taco salads and I must say I was proud I tried making something new. It doesn't happen very often lately and I hope to make it happen more. Pretty tasty if I do say so myself!

So it may not seem like much, but my business page in facebook reached 60 likes today! I've been trying to get a pick up on clientele. It may be a slow moving race but I'd like to think I'm still in it. Happy day!

Though I am not a fan of the snow when it applies to our steep driveway and bad drivers, I simply cannot deny how beautiful the first snow looked this morning as the sun came out on my way to work. Everything was so clean and bright. Nature is a wonder...and a blessing from God.

First snow of the season appeared this morning. Looks like powdered sugar on a deliecious chocolate dessert. I think it's pretty with the fall colors still being around. I guess they won't be around for long now, but take a look at how bright our neighbors tree still is! Awersome.

Does this give me permission to start listening to Christmas music? It just might ;)

I love this man more than words can say :)

Lane and I spent the entire day in Salt Lake yesterday. Left the house at 7 in the morning to get Lane to a group project meeting for school. Spent the morning there. I worked while he schooled. We got a yummy lunch at Quiznos and headed to Wheeler Historic Farm where I shot family pictures for my sister-in-laws family.

I shot for a little over three hours shooting 30 people! It was exhausting but there were still some pretty fall colors left and I think they turned out pretty good.

After the shoot we headed downtown to watch the Jazz play the Clippers. We got free roadside parking (chich never happens) and walked around The Gateway for a few minutes before headed to the ESA. Lane's boss handed him two "suite" tickets last week and Lane gladly accepted.

It was a great game against the Clippers. We witnessed the Jazz Bear inflict borderline harassment on several people, enjoyed delicious boneless buffalo wings and delectable dessert. I got the strawberry shortcake. It was AMAZING!

Lane got a super eclair. He loves those. We left a few minutes early and got stuck in traffic on the freeway, making it around 11:00 p.m. by the time we finally got home. It was a long day but it was so nice to be able to spend it together. Together is what we do best.

We are prepping to move out of our first great blessing in our marriage. We've lived where we're at for the first year and always knew we would have to say goodbye someday...but now that "goodbye" is just around the corner it's a sad reality.
